The Lewiston Farmers' Market is excited to offer a new program to the community, Maine Senior FarmShare! Led by the Maine Department of Agriculture Conservation & Forestry, the USDA funded program provides eligible low-income adults the opportunity to receive a share (worth $50) of first-quality, fresh, local produce at no cost directly from local Maine farmers during the growing season. If you are interested in signing up for the program, come to the market Information Booth. Our program coordinator Jake will help you fill out a quick form, then you will be all set to spend! Vouchers can be spent throughout the season and only expire at the end of November.
